NIGEL CARSON - Born in Stockton-on-Tees, in December 1974
Nigel always wanted to be a footballer or a PE teacher and was got the best of both worlds when he was offered a job as a football coach.Nigel Started coaching full time in 1994 for All Star Soccer Schools after gaining his F.A. Level 2 coaching badge in Middlesbrough. Nigel coached the representative team for All star Soccer and had Michael Dawson in his team in 1995 which toured the USA.
In 1996 started Nigel Carson Soccer Schools and in 1998 Nigel moved to Scarborough and started coaching the Scarborough Sixth Form 3rd team.
A year later Nigel moved up to the 2nd team manager and took over as manager of Scarborough and District Schools under 11's. Nigel continued his coaching development by taking his Level 3 (U.E.F.A. B) coaching badge in Hull.
In 2003 Nigel was made Scarborough Sixth form college 1st team manager.
In 2008 Nigel became a scout for Hull City F.C and took the F.A Talent Identification Course.
He also took the F.A Age appropriate course for coaching 5-12 year olds.
2009 saw Nigel take the brand new F.A Youth Award Module 1 and Module 2 and ran a development centre for Hull City F.C.
In 2010 Nigel was one of only 24 coaches in the North of England to be chosen to take the F.A. Youth Award
module 3.
Nigel has also completed the FA Safeguarding children course, FA Emergency aid course, FA child welfare officer course, FA Psychology in Football course and the FA mentoring adults course.
Now in 2011 Nigel still manages Scarborough and District Under 11's, Scarborough Sixth Form College 1st team and scouts for Hull City. Nigel also now runs an academy for the best under 9's and 10's in Scarborough.
